The Northern Light Fair was a success. We exhibited a several news which was widely acclaimed. Please see the presentation below.

Funnel Lamp is inspired by the street lamps of old, mixing nostalgic romance with industrial clarity. Combining traditional shapes with new technology Funnel creates a unique contemporary look. Funnel is equally at home in the bedroom or the office. Or why not use it as a floor lamp near your favourite armchair, and pretend to read under the glow of a street lamp.

Cone was developed from the desire to combine an interesting array of materials together with light. The glossy sheen of the glass in contrast to the rib knitted textiles creates a stylistically pure electrical lighting. The use of two traditional materials gives an exciting expression in terms of shape as well as the light effect.

Lean wall lamp is new for this year following the success of the Lean floor lamp. Continuing Lean's retro lines, the wall lamp ebraces designer Jenny Bäck's mix of materials including powder-coated metal, rubber and brass.

Bell is a big pendant lamp which takes its inspiration from industrial lamps and well-lit ice hockey rinks. Extensively researced to ensure optimal light performance, along with a distinct rounded, graphic design Bell is suitable for larger spaces and yet equally impressive in more intimate settings.

The diameter is 550 mm. 2x42W flourescent lamps gives Bell a high light output.

9-13 February

The preparations fot the Northern Light Fair in Stockholm are in full swing. It will be a new exciting stand.

Mushroom has been chosen at CODE09 at Bella Center, Copenhagen and the first Nordic design competion. The Nordic Selected is a unique design-competition, which shows the best nordic design within the last decade. 

Description: The iconic shape is given identity by a red colour on the illuminated parts of the lamp. A simple, graphic way to create a warm atmosphere where it is placed.

Örsjö Belysning had a big success at the Euroluce fair 22-27 April 2009. It was the second time we exhibited in Milan.

Our pendant lamp Ginko has been awarded Best light in Wallpapers Best Domestic Design. Ginko was nominated from all new products by a jury with architct Jean Nouvel as president.
