Gustaf Nordenskiöld, was born in Gothenburg, and works in Stockholm as an artist and designer. Educated at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. As a product designer he makes everyday objects in ceramics, glass, textiles and metal.
Nordenskiöld often let the manufacturing method become an important part of the finished work, leaving traces of the process in the object, as a memory of its making. This method-oriented process can be expressed in a design object or in a documented performance.
Gustaf Nordenskiöld has been recognized through numerous exhibitions both in Sweden and abroad. He is represented at the National Museum, Röhsska Museet, Malmö Art Museum, ASU Art Museum in the United States and Vallauris Ceramics Museum in France.
